Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Cairo
Arrival: Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will be waiting to welcome you. He will assist you through immigration and passport control, and help with luggage collection and customs procedures. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Cairo Exploration
Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious breakfast served at your hotel.
Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and begin your visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses an impressive collection of 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts. Discover the museum’s major highlights, including the iconic GEMS of King Tutankhamen.
Pyramids: Proceed to visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza — the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. These iconic monuments have stood the test of time for over 4,500 years, and continue to awe and inspire all who stand before them.
Marvel at the grandeur of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and don’t miss the timeless guardian of the plateau: the Great Sphinx.
Lunch: Savor a set menu lunch at a local restaurant.
Sphinx: Visit the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery. Your Egyptologist will enthral you with the tales told of this fascinating figure.
Return to your Hotel and overnight.
Day 3: Saqqara, Citadel, mosques & Khan El Khalili
Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before starting the day’s activities.
Saqqara: Meet your Egyptologist guide & proceed to visit Saqqara, the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis and the site of the world’s first stone monument — the Step Pyramid of Djoser, a revolutionary structure that changed architecture forever.
Wander through 4,350-year-old tombs, still adorned with vibrant colors and intricate carvings, offering a glimpse into the beliefs, daily life, and artistry of ancient Egypt.
Lunch: Enjoy Lunch at a Local Restaurant.
Salah El-Din Citadel
Perched on the Mokattam Hills, the Salah El-Din Citadel is one of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 12th century by the great Muslim leader Salah El-Din (Saladin), the fortress was designed to defend the city against Crusader attacks. Today, it offers a fascinating blend of Islamic architecture, history, and panoramic views of Cairo.
Al-Rifai Mosque
Located next to the historic Sultan Hassan Mosque in Cairo, Al-Rifai Mosque is a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture. Completed in the early 20th century, the mosque was built to reflect the grandeur of Cairo’s Islamic heritage while serving as a royal mausoleum.
Sultan Hassan Mosque
One of the greatest masterpieces of Islamic architecture in Cairo, the Sultan Hassan Mosque was built in the 14th century during the Mamluk era. Known for its massive scale, elegant proportions, and stunning stonework, the mosque also served as a madrasa (religious school) for the four main schools of Sunni Khan El Khalili Bazar: Later this afternoon, you will enjoy a stroll at the fascinating Khan El-Khalili Bazaar – reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Originally founded as a watering stop for caravanserai in the 14th century, the bazaar has now grown to vast proportions.
Return to your hotel & overnight.
Day 4: Cairo/Aswan
Breakfast: Breakfast boxes will be arranged for your early morning flight to Aswan and checkout
Transfer: Transfer to Cairo Airport to take an early flight to Aswan.
Transfer to your 5* Luxury Nile Cruise M/S Oberoi Philae or M/S Oberoi Zahra Nile Cruise for check-in.
The High Dam: Prepare yourself for a particularly overwhelming sightseeing experience: the Aswan High Dam is truly impressive. The Dam is 3600 meters long, 980 meters thick at base, and 111 meters tall (at its highest point).
Philae Temple: Visit the island of Philae and the temple that is dedicated to the goddess ISIS, the goddess of love and passion in ancient Egypt. The Temple of Philae is in a beautiful setting, landscaped to match the original site of the temple when it was relocated by UNESCO after the building of the Aswan Dam threatened the site.

Sail to Kom Ombo
Dinner: enjoy dinner onboard & overnight at Kom Ombo
Day 5: Kom Ombo/ Edfu
Breakfast: Breakfast on board the Nile Cruise
Kom Ombo Temple: Walk to visit the temple of Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile and falcon gods. Stop at the Crocodile Mummification Museum, where you can see crocodile mummies that are thousands of years old.
Sail to Edfu
Lunch: Enjoy Lunch onboard the Nile Cruise
Edfu Temple: By horse carriage, visit the temple of Horus at Edfu, the most intact temple from the ancient world.
Sail to Esna
Dinner: Enjoy Dinner onboard your Nile Cruise & overnight at Esna
Day 6: Karnak & Luxor Temple
Sail to Luxor
Breakfast: Enjoy Breakfast onboard
West Bank: Begin your day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs. Explore elaborately decorated tombs that once held the mummies of ancient rulers such as Tutankhamun and Ramses VI.
Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari — an architectural masterpiece built for Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, who ruled as a king and left behind a unique legacy.
Stop for photos at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guard for over 3,000 years.
Lunch: served onboard as you relax after the morning tour.
Karnak Temple: Start your exploration of Luxor’s East Bank with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Karnak – the largest religious complex ever built in the ancient world. This vast sanctuary is dedicated to Amun-Ra, the supreme creator god. Wander through its grand hypostyle hall with 134 towering columns, and marvel at the scale and artistry that span over 2,000 years of construction.
Luxor Temple: Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture, largely built by Pharaoh Ramses II. Connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes, the temple was used for rituals and festivals, and remains a stunning symbol of ancient Thebes.
Dinner: onboard and overnight stay on your Nile Cruise at Luxor
Day 7: Luxor – West Bank Highlights / Return to Cairo
Breakfast: onboard your Nile Cruise & checkout.
Transfer: Transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo.
Arrival: Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 8: Final Departure
Breakfast: Enjoy Breakfast at your hotel and check out.
Transfer: You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport, where our representative will assist you with boarding your international flight. Depart with hearts full of unforgettable memories—the sights, sounds, and spirit of Egypt will travel home with you.
